Question: What technical specifications do clients need to have to receive invoices ?

Answer: Hi, your agency clients just need to be using a system which supports eInvoicing. These links show which accounting software products currently support this:

NZ https://www.einvoicing.govt.nz/software/software-products

Australia: https://www.ato.gov.au/businesses-and-organisations/einvoicing/einvoicing-for-government

They will need to be able to receive e-invoice supplier invoices.

To set up your client for eInvoicing, you'll need to collect their GST number and ABN/NZBN for the legal entity you're invoicing.

Question: If you use signatory software, and sometimes the invoices don't display POs, can we alter the fields before saving the AP scanning tool easily enough?

Answer: If I understand you correctly, yes, you can use the AP AI invoice scan function to create an invoice in Pegasus. However, you must edit/change any data fields once the invoice is in Pegasus before updating or after updating using Change Existing Invoice.

Any changes to the actual PDF of the invoice will need to be completed before bringing it into Pegasus as part of the AI scan, for the upload to take that edit into consideration.
